Serious Question: How do you know that the Hauln’ Ass Poster girl in the yellow is actually wearing green moon boots? I’m curious because because as I’m in the photography business one idea I had was to put together a 25 year reunion shot. Exactly replicate the scene in the original poster. Even made an effort to order the “frontal” view of these girls but the money-order came back “return to sender”.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Maysles did a pretty good documentary, “Haulin’ History,” about the making of this poster (Jean Bach kind of copied this idea with the “A Great Day in Harlem” doc ). They interviewed the photographer and all the women, etc. Claudia mentioned that she was wearing green moon boots that day because she had just gotten back from doing some errands and she was wearing the boots for that because they were comfortable and when she got to the shoot and said “Let me change out of these boots,” Bach said, “No one’ll see your shoes, just put on the top of your bikini and get in the truck”
I just finished working on a photoshoot and the girl that did Hair and make up said that she was the girl in the pink in this poster do you know her full name?
The one in the pink looks like it’s packin or has a bad case of hemmorhoids.
i know the girl in the blue shes from san diego her names deb she my old girl friend !!!
Oh my gosh, I’ve been wanting to get more info on this poster. Where do you all find out this info from? The poster I have is framed and I just noticed the other day in the bottom right hand corner it says for the front view mail $6 to some address in CA? I can’t imagine that address is still accurate. I’ve been trying to find the front view on-line but can’t. Any ideas how to get it?
I also sent money order for ‘front view’ and it was returned. Woudl love to get a copy of the front view.
One of the blonde girls is Sheryl Baker from Cypress ca. used to know her.
I don’t see any info or links to provide proof to what you say.
where is the imdb record of this. saw the maysles history.
nothing what you say. where’s the documentary?

Hello all… I’m the girl in the blue Bathing suit. the girl in the green was my friend from Florida Piper Alwell. We were asked to do this shoot in the late 1980′s from one of the photographers . We were both working for Crawfords awimwear and Sea Oats SwimWear Company. I live in Palm Bay Florida, ad loved that small part of my life, it was exciting!!!! Shannon Maura
The girl in yellow is not wearing green moon boots. I have the reverse poster where you see thier faces and in that one you can see her left high heel. It was taken only moments after this one just thier heads are turned towards the camera.

I lived with the one in pink ( so she says) I always wondered if it was her. was it Toni? Lived with her in Tampa. She was a dancer. She was from Baltimore.
I knew the daughter of the Japenese girl back in the 1990′s in the Air Force, her name was Elizabeth Davis and she certainly had her mother’s “assets”.
Hey Rob, Yup Toni from Baltimore. Her last name was another man’s name
The girl in the pink’s name is Kali,we have a thirteen year old
son. She is as hot today at 48 as she was then.
Hey Bernard be respectful. The mom and daughter are friends of mine. I will say that I did have fun of pointing out that her mother was in the yellow after she made fun of the poster in a friend’s garage. Mom kept the modeling job a secret.
i havent seen this poster since junior high. the 80s, the heels and hair.
I used to date the girl in yellow. We went to high school together.
Yes, the girl in the blue is Cheryl Baker from Cypress, Ca. I grew up there as well and we were neighbors. Would love to hear from her again sometime.
