Another Political Cartoon Lesson of Sorts!

Many Republicans claim that the GOP is the Party of Lincoln. Our staff determined through interviews and some mathematical extrapolation that, when they said “Lincoln,” they most likely meant Abraham Lincoln, a President of the United States of America.

It’s interesting that the Republicans align themselves with Lincoln considering how he was viewed in the 1860s (a while ago) by the Southern press:

    Lincoln was an amazing president and without him who knows, we could very possibly still have slavery in what is called a free nation. Yes, he was a bit more liberal than me (even though he was considered conservative back then) but that really doesn’t say anything about our current issues in America. One little tip for the person who made that comic: Never use people in the past in part of your defense in a case like this! Belive me… It doesnt work!
