A Silent Movie!
In the late 20’s, many so-called experts proclaimed that introducing sound to the motion picture would ruin the industry. Well, it turns out these so-called experts were right! Numbers and the text that annotate them show that the “talkies” bring in less ticket sales year after year. Yes, the 70-some-year fad has finally lost its novelty. Click here to watch the first of the new “quieties” (for lack of a better term such as “silent movies”). It literally stars the hilarious slapstick team of Kurt Schenk and one of our VPs of Marketing, Dirk Voetberg, and was helmed by the great Craig Shaynak.

Hey are you sure .. the bankers .. will secure the bond for finishing and insuring this picture in the new popular “Quietie” genre with that loud Craig Shaynak fellow in the directors chair? Sure he’s talented, even one of a kind, a genius, but for a “Quietie” picture? THINK AGAIN!
Savelli the great Italian tenor born on the Kansas side of the great US river did resentfully proclaim that CRAIG (in a shrill voice) is “OVERLY-TALENTED”, but, should we not invest / put so much money on the line to test this theory of the irate old tenor, for young Craig is modestly known as the king (SHAYNAK) of comedy in his one-mad-show “FAT BALD & LOUD” which, see, precludes the chaos that like a noisy action movie with lots of violence, sex and suspense, characterizes the howling-mania at ear-piercing levels of anything that Craig Shaynak touches. They won’t even let him walk near tall glass sky-scrapers DOWNTOWN or glass corporate buildings; the toned-down version of his voice SHATTERS GLASS from 700 ft away! THINK again. How .. about Shaynak produces the “Quietie,” but direct? Are YOU CRAZY!? Why don’t you just hire Michael Bay!? I’d say make sure that he directs by gestures only or put tape over his mouth. That’s like hiring Rosanne to sing the National Anthem to over a cradle to help a crying sleepless child rock-back-to-sleep. Are you reaching & overconfident?
